Her recent events work includes the Falls Festival at Lorne, Port Fairy Folk Festival and Womadelaide. Her solo Exhibition of works “Rock On” held at Revolver in Prahran showcased many of these festivals. Ferne was invited by Paul Watson to photograph the 30th anniversary Sea Shepherd Foundation Benefit Concert in Los Angeles USA in September 2007.

Ferne has branched into studio shoots of musicians and artists, including recent CD shoots for Daddy Cool, Guitar Tablature book images for John Butler Trio and Vasco era for Universal Music. Daddy Cool Frontman Ross Wilson says about her “ We needed to recreate a particular pose for our album cover & Ferne captured it exactly & very quickly allowing us to spend more time doing other shots. We ended up getting a wide range of poses which attained high acceptance by the media."
